What a day! What a wonderful day. Did I mention that we had a great day today?! There is nothing better than staying home, hanging out with my family while enjoying fun presents and great food.
Our day didn't start too early, I was actually disappointed my kids didn't get up earlier! :) I think they slept in until like 6! ;)
Sam's dreams came true as he ran downstairs and saw his new Hobbit Legos.
He was also pleased to see that Santa knows him so well that there was no chocolate in his stocking!
More Legos.More Legos.
Sam also scored a movie, Olaf, and some sweet slippers.
James was just as happy to see his new Hobbit Lego sets as well.
He was glad that there was lots of chocolate in his stocking!
He also found the much desired Lego Cave Trolls he had wanted in his stocking.
Finally, the bow and arrow his been wanting for months.
He scored a Woody to go with the Buzz he got a few months ago.
He also scored a DVD, comfy slippers and Tenderheart.
Chloe was silenced by her awe. She LOVED her princess castle and just sat staring at it for about 10 minutes before she decided to touch it.
She just sat there smiling at all of us. So proud of her present.
She had to check what she scored in her stocking.
Uncle Jeremy surprised the kids and flew in late last night to be here for Christmas morning. The kids were shocked and so excited to have him for a visit.
Chloe scored a Hello Kitty, a DVD and some slippers.
She also got the Palace Pets for her princesses.
She also had to get the newest princesses, Elsa and Anna, from Frozen.
Lego sent a cute little Christmas video to the kids and they loved watching it with Dad.
Seth got some much needed new ties and movies. I got a deep fryer and the movie The Great Race. A classic from my childhood.
Santa even came to Snuggles. She got a stocking of new toys and a bag of bones. She disappeared the rest of the day! ;)
After the morning rush we were able to lay around and enjoy our new things.Chloe roped Grandma M into playing with her. I think Grandma didn't quite know what she was getting into!
After some fun they had a rest together and watched some of the Living Scripture videos Grandma had gotten for the kids.
The kids gave their Grandparents little Lego figures. This is how they decided to set them up. Apparently this is the most accurate pose! ;)
We ended the most wonderful day ever with a delicious turkey dinner. We all ate until we were stuffed. Well, all of us ate except for Sam who grossed himself out so much that he actually threw it up at the table. Ewww! Oh well, memories, right?!
